Remarks

I got my course in this college as nutrition courses colleges are very less in DU. Also this college is in north campus so i had the craze to go and study in north campus. I searched about the college on college duniya Site and it had a good amount of positive reviews about the faculty, placements and college life. The admission process was simple, just see the cut off and if u are eligible print the form and go to the department And the admission is done

It was my aim since childhood to become a dietician and in this college the faculty of nutrition is really nice. It is well organised and managed and the admin section has a good information about the date sheets and exams to be held.

Class Size: 33Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience

From 2nd year students get eligible for placements. Nafed, amazon, nestle, tops, lays are the companies i know that come for placements. Highest package is 20 lakhs per annum and average is 4 lakhs per annum. Almost 70 percent students get placements. My plans are to study further masters in nutrition and health education

Life at campus is really interesting and good. I enjoy so much and is very happy to get admission in the famous north campus of university of delhi. I enjoy every moment of my college life with my friends. There are many places nearby to hangout and have fun

DTU FROM A FRESHER'S PERSPECTIVE

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. I applied to surajmal college in ipu with bba course I got accepted into it but didn't go as fees was very high and they have strict rules of parent teacher meeting and uniform so not much college vibes , as compared to daulatram which is at prime of North campus and got the course I wanted eco honours the process included entrance exam ceut ug which includes maths in particular for eco honours cutoff is usually around 720-740/800 for daulatram....Read More

Insights into DRC

After appearing for CUET UG, we make preferences of the desired college and on the basis on the CUET score, colleges are alloted. So, Daulat Ram College was my 7th preference and I was alloted this as per my category and cut off I cleaned. Although it was 7th preferred college, I have no regret of getting into it. Good internship opportunities

The admission process till last year in University of Delhi was on the basis of 12th std marks, but from this new session(2022-2023) there is an entrance test CUET. The eligibility for the same was the student must've cleared 12th board exams and the application form was available on NTA official site. People with reservations(SC, ST, OBC etc..) do get a lot of benefits like for them the marks are less for getting a good college as compared to non- reservation seats.
