Remarks

1.College location was in the center of the city 2.I heard this college has a good teaching facility. 3.The placements were decent. 4.The online reviews were good for this college. 5.In this college the electronics and communications had more seats than other college.

Course Curriculum Overview

In Karnataka all the engineering colleges (99.9%)will comes under the VTU so we all learn the same syllabus. Industrial exposure in this course is very less. If we means (the students) show interest in that then they will provide it(unity should be there). Faculties are soo good in our college except 1-2 Just you do the work they have given and ask them anything they will provide it If they can even outside the courses they will support You. Somesh.BS (microcontroller,networks,communications) Bhaskar MK (VHDL) Uma maam (Mathematics ) and much more.

We have 2 fests in an year 1.Technical Fest called DEXTRIX All the tech related competitions,gaming Competitions,and events will take place in this fest. This is pretty Big fest in our campus. 2. Cultural Fest called SAPTHRANG All the cultural activities like dancing, fashion show, singing, fun activities,fun games, all types of competitions, games have prize for winning it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I will get about 19000 as my scholarship yearly from the Karnataka Government under some scheme.AND this scholarship is not provided by the college. Our college will give the Scholarship only for those students who will be on top in your respective department academic wise.

Campus Life

Our campus is very small compared to all the other colleges. simple infrastructure, the cafeteria is also small, labs are average, not great, now they are improving, we have an Incubation center and that is great. and IoT lab is heaven that is so good. Average library, spacious Mess, And the average auditorium(seminar halls)

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mtech Thermal Engineering because I was interested in thermal subjects like Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, CFD. The Curriculum is pretty decent and it does covers the fundamentals and advanced topics of the particular subject but it could be better in terms of imparting practical and industrial knowledge. The exams that are held in NITK are competitive and requires a good understanding of the subject. You simply cannot cram and get good marks in exam. You have to know the proper implementation of that particular formula or theory.

I applied to acharya college and ramai college also but I got confirmed addmission for in this college . and I choose this colege because of my comedK rank . only this is the top college I was getting by that rank. yes I get rejection from other college that i applid to because my comedk rank is not sufficient to take admission in that college . there is the three process to take the admission in my colllege i) comedk - in my time the cutoff is 32k for Computer science and enginnering ii) Kcet- I am not sure about kcut cutoff but nearly 40-50k for this college iii) management quota - there is no cutoff for management quota , only you have to show your money power and get admission in my college my overall admission experience is normal...Read More

Actually I didn't get the other colleges because in the councellling i got this college. But I'm fine with it. Comparing it with other colleges can be done on the bases of fees structure, Curriculum, campus size. our campus size is approximately 17.5 acres, where other colleges follow VTU syllabus, here we have our own syllabus because our batch is the the first batch that is autonomous.
