Remarks

Government College in Trivandrum, which is newly been implemented by CAPE. Experienced faculties and expert adhoc faculties for every department. Students have very good exposure to the subjects and college is situated in the city.

Good curriculum and subjects as per KTU. Though the valuation by University is poor, college is having excellent team for all the inspections. Each and every cell works cordially for the betterment of the college.

As the first batch is just graduated in 2020, there were no much companies came to college for campus placement. Though the students are recruited to many companies through online and offline procedures.

Good campus Life. First tech fest was to be conducted during the February March of 2020 but due to the covid19 pandemic it's been postponed to infinity.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure as for management it is 65000/- per year and for merit 18000/- per year. There are many scholarships that can be applied for reservation quota.

Hostel Facilities

Rental accomodation is been done for now. Building for the hostel is been built by the college and might be opened soon for the students and faculties.

No, nothing as of now during the entry to the college. In the meanwhile during the academics, exam cell conducts many discussion GD debates for the growth of students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.
