College for Academics!

I got this college through WBJEE counciling so this is the reason to get admission in this college. The atomosphere of college is good although other than academics there is not much activities. However for being ECE stream it's a quite good for availability of faculty who are experts on this domain. Admission process is quite simple as I get through counciling, verification of my documents are already done through WBJEE Authority so it's takes 1 day to get admission in college just fill up all necessary form of college and very next month of admission class started. Best thing about the college ECE department was best in this college i. e Academics were much more better but other than academics there was no dedicated play ground for outdoor games and also annual tech fest is not conducted every year i. e Extra activities were so less.

As I wants to learn both hardware as well as the software part I choose ECE over any other Btech stream. Faculties were quite friendly and knowledgeable persons. They are either Masters or PHD Holders on Electronics or respective subjects. And student ration quite good. ECE department got maximum number of students at my time in comparison to any other streams. Exam were conducted as per makaut rules. 2 semester in every year. In between sem there were internal exam also take place. 2 internal exam during a particular semester. Passing exam totally depends upon your study if you study well not only you will pass the exam but also secured a good marks. There was both theory and practical classes taken by faculties. Teaching method was traditional and quite good if someone wants to understand the topics.

There was lots of company came during our last year. From 7th semester student are eligible for campus placement. As I said lots of software company came for placement drive but only 3-4 core company came for placement drive. Byjus, Tech Mahindra, HPE, Amazon, Cloud Captain and many more company came. Highest package was offered by Marketing company about 8L CTC per anum and avg package about 3L per anum. Its about 80% people are placed in campus drive. However I got 2 placements but My planning is to get RRB JEE so I didn't join any private firm in between I get Govt Job in department of post so I joined it instead of private firm. So that I can prepare well for RRB JEE.

Life at campus was so good still I miss my college days over my school days. Yes although Tech Fest & Annual Fest conducted but not every year. In the month of February to March both conducted one by one. Library is full of books and daily journal we get but I won't read news paper although. Annual sports events also conducted but college campus doesn't have much sports ground except indoor gaming like TT & Badminton & lastly a volleyball court was made by us. There was only managment committee which was run by students with the association of faculty. But there was no such particular social group or club in college.

Although it's a private engineering college but the course fee is not much it's about 3. 2L/3. 80L is course fee for 4 years of degree course. And I got through TFW scheme of Govt of WB where I get total Tution fee subsidy from Govt of WB. And the end of 4th year I get placed through the campus placement drive in a Private Firm with a package of 2L in Kolkata In my own state. And another placement in Bangalore bases firm with package 3. 2L.

I didn't go into hostel I rented a PG only for living. For Food facility I used to go college canteen. I get PG beside of college and hostel of college located 2KM away from college. Food was good in canteen but I won't say very good or not very bad quite decent quality and taste of food.

No. Its basis on WBJEE Ranking. There is no such round even for Direct Admission too. I prepared for WBJEE and secured 25K Ranking and then through WBJEE counciling I fill up form of colleges and I get this college through 2nd round counselling.
