Remarks

VNIT is a national level college. It's very good for placements.its campus is so good and everywhere there is a greenary. But some of the teaching methods are improper.like some profs have knowledge but they can't express properly. Admission process for vnit was through JOSAA councelling.it's very friendly. I referred vnit.ac.in website also the josaa.nic.in for the admission procedure.

I like coding so I choose the computer Science and Engineering course. Department faculty are good for teaching but there is problem with maths department faculty. Otherwise department faculty is good for teaching as well as helpful. They took 2 sessionals for 15 marks each and 1 end sem exam for 60 marks.and the rest 10 are the internals, for that they give Assignments and quizzes and many more.so basically everything you need to do carefully and sincerely.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good.after 6th sem students get internships.and in that internship period some students get pre-placement offer. Goldman Sachs,citi bank,Amazon these companies visited our campus.

College Events

The life at vnit is so good. You all will really enjoy there. There are almost 33 different clubs including cultural and Technical. They are run by students for the students. Through clubs we get interacted through many people in college. Sports ground is also big. It's very good. There is many facilities in the library also. We have stores also nearby.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is 125000 tution fee per year for my batch and some extra charges across 8000 is there but if your income is less you have very good chances of fee remission. You can get 2/3rd or full fees as remission at the end of the year according to your family income. In cse dept the placements are pretty good. Last year the highest package was 38lpa and average was 12lpa.so it's quite good.

Hostel Facilities

We have a college hostel. It's good. We have LAN connections there. Hot water for bath, continue electricity, and many more facilities are there. Hostel admission process is when we do admission process for college.

Hostel Fee: INR 76000 per year

Admission

No the admission was through marks scored in JEE mains exams. There's no any other method. You should qualify the jee mains exam.and according to your rank in JEE mains you will get admission.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

Likes

Infrastructure is just too good- Building is Fully Air Conditioned
Placement are really decent for a Commerce Graduate around 6-7 Lakhs per annum
Lots of student Associations are there to gain practical exposure.

Dislikes

Very Strict Attendance Policy of 75 Percent.
Rigid and Time Consuming Course Structure
Lot of Fests are there but they do not match the Vibe like North Indian Colleges Fests

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent around 6-7 LPA and almost 50% students get placed and the Highest package is Around 22LPA . Many MNCs visit the college such as McKinsey,Barclays, Goldman Sachs etc. • I am planning to get placed in a MNC.

the curriculum included both theoretical and practical subjects related to computer science ,which matches my interest in technology and career growth . The curriculum provided foundational knowledge ,practical assignments ,and project work that helped in understanding real word application More industry oriented training is suggested the exams were conducted after 6 months every semester some times the results are delayed by university

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

I like the cleanness of the collage and premise
Very good interaction with other peaceful campus
Another thing i like is the infrastructure good campus amenities and learning facilities

Dislikes

The lab management no sitting arrangement many of the water taps not working ect
The office faculty most of them are rude in behaviour
The parking arrangements not well yet and not allowing any of four wheeler inside the campus

I love pharmacy and i love to see me as an pharmacist i like this profession because i like to see the other pharmacists how they work how they wear the lab coat ect thats why i choose this and as soon i get to know that we can also start a business by having a pharmacy license

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate. A best start to earn money

i chose this college as its nirf ranking is below 40 which is higher than many iits in india. other reason to opt this college is that it is a bit nearer to my place compared to other nits in all over india. there was a doubt to chose between branch and college. i shose both by opting eee in nagur nit. admission process is simple. once college is alloted from josaa councelling and csab lucky councelling, joining date and approval of admission will be released which helps you jpoin and treach college on time. after reaching here, student mentors from 3rd year help freshers in every step of admission and complete in 2 hours atmost. after everything has done, a hostel room and roommate is alloted as per allotment scheme and you can happily explore college and join our hostel which feels like a swcond home....Read More
