According to my rank in JEE this was good deal for me. Admission process is easy but involves good amount of paper work. My College have good placement rounds among many colleges from pune and it is also heading for autonomy.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose computer engineering coz I love logic. Faculty is very good in terms of knowledge and experience,also very flexible with students, student ratio is male:female - 5:2. Mostly the faculties are phd qualified. Attendance monitoring is quite strict compared to other colleges. Teaching is good, every 2months you need to fill feedback form regarding faculties and your suggestions. you don't need to worry much about exams, read for 2-3 days and you are through them.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 5th semester, mostly the companies visit from software industry, but our college has the best mechanical department in pune. Companies like Adobe, Amazon, kpit sparkle, accenture, tata, Mahindra, cognizant etc have visited our college over the years. Highest package till date is 32 lakhs/annum by ZF to mechanical student. Average package varies from 3.4-5.5 lakhs. Placement is 100%, but you can also prepare for higher education in our college. I plan to start a business firm or do job after my graduation.
College Events
Life is good at campus only if you are extrovert and love to befriend new people. There are many clubs like art circle, coding club, ecell, sports, tedx etc where you can brush up all your skills and be a multi talented, people here are very helpful. Every year Swartarang(annual fest) is conducted with great performances from students. Library has a huge collection of books which you can carry with you for 15 days and renew the time if required, also it has lots of journal papers and online content which you can access from your system also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is 1,14,000 but I guess it's okay compared to other Institutes, also you can avail scholarship of upto half of your fees by submitting certain documents. I personally got scholarship for 3years (I am in 3rd year) and paid only 65,000. Internships depends if any company is interested in it, you won't Compulsorily get Internship, equal opportunity to seat for placements is provided. Also our training and placement officer is on some high position for government.
Hostel Facilities
Cots and mattresses are provided, cleaning is done in 2-3 days, hostel and mess are in the same building, different for boys and girls, meal is quite good rather than other college canteens, you just have to fill one hostel form and attach a copy of feee receipt to it. For 1st year hostel is granted easily, but 2nd year onwards hostel is granted based on academic performance. I live nearby my college in mangal vihar, navshakti society, akurdi.
Admission
Criteria 1) JEE Mains ranks and marks 2) MHTCET ranks and percentile 3) initially you have to fill provisional allotment form differently for students who want colleges in Maharashtra, and according to your marks you will be allotted a college for that mark range. There are 4 rounds and one additional round.
