Remarks

Haldia Institute Of Technology is a good college. The campus area of the college is very big. In this food technology stream Job opportunities are very good. The professor and the teacher of the college are very good. I was admitted to this college in 2019 through WBJEE counselling process. I found out about this college through the website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because Food Technology is a nice stream and job opportunities in this stream is very good. The faculties are very good. There are 65 students in my class. Every teacher has a PhD degree. Every teacher teaches us very carefully. When each chapter ends our teachers take the exam. Questions of the exam is very hard.

Placement Experience

After 7 semester students become eligible for campus placement. In food technology stream many companies were came in our college. The companies are 1 Nestle India. 2 Parle Agro. 3 Cadbury. 4 Amul. 5 Vadilal. 6 MTR Foods. 7 Haldiram's. 8 KRBL Limited. 9 Pepsi.

College Events

The campus life is very good because every essential things which are mostly needed for a students are available in campus. Name of the annual fest is "PRAYUKTI" and name of the culture fest is "RIVIERA". A huge library is situated in our college campus. So students does not face any food shortage problem. Every year our college organized " Annual Sports events ". Many clubs are present in our college like football club, cricket Club, singing club etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

480000 rupees for 4 year for food Technology stream. Our college offers many variety of scholarships like Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Means Scholarship. In our college, food technology students get job very easily because the reason is many food companies visits our college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are too good and clean and clear. The bed quality is very nice. In our hostel meal quality id too good. Fish, egg, meat are available for every day. Registration process for hostel is very easy.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

Group discussion topic is "why you choose this college and why you choose that particular stream. There are 6 round for group discussion and interview. Criteria for admission is " WBJEE rank under 50000.

Okay college and decent placement

I choose this college due to affordable fees and the hostel facility near. But I think my desicion was wrong as it is not good engineering college as compared to the other colleges from noida ,ghaziabad and rest cities of India .This is because of followiong parameters that are good in those colleges.1.NO Regular cultural and technical fest. 2.Not any extra co cirricular activities such as dandiya, festive special programs and the main freshers part. 3. There is no farewell given to final year students by the college. 4. No convacation held. 3. No hightech infrastructure and AC classrooms.
