Remarks

All alerts regarding examination, practicals and examination form and even admission are conducted online and offline so you can prefer online admission and can save your time. you would books which are written by best teachers you would love this books if your are fond of reading and learning you have to do 100% self study so if you can do self study you can easily pass it.

Entrance Preview

Basically you need not to crack any entrance exam for UG courses, But you need to be passes in your 10+2 or its equivalent. I Scored 88% in 10+2 I like study at home rather than doing a regular college with tight schedule it allows me to complete other diploma and certificate courses ,which i like for developing better skills. Its optional to have this. This course is for those who are familiar with self study mode because you won't get any teacher for teaching yes but you would get best teachers of best colleges for your practical works.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This course is much more research oriented, as you are going to get study material from university only, which had been return by best researchers or professor of our country so you would have not to pay anything on books university will provide it the study material provided by them are very interesting and would build your knowledge from foundation to subject oriented and it will also include application oriented this fees for july 2016 was 3500, which included admission fee, study material, laboratory etc.

Placement Experience

3

For b.sc there is no placement for other courses like BCA , MBA there is Placement and job opportunity you can further go for M.Sc in other university. The university will provide you MIGRATION CERTIFICATE which will help you to get admission for m.sc in your concern discipline. you can also prepare for civil services exams or you can also engage yourself in job oriented diplomas or certificates

College Events

2.5

Usually induction meet occurs after you get enrolled to university as you are in open and distance education mode you are not meant to attain regualar classes so you won't be getting chance to celebrate events after completion of your degree you would be getting DEGREEB in convocation program which will be a good event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

THE fees for one year is only 3500 which include laboratory fees, admission fees, complete set of books etc so total fees for three years is 10,500. As the university is an initative by honerable Ministry of HRD , commonwealth of learning etc so the fees is therefore less and and even an less income family can easily afford for study at ignou.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship by government of india is for sc/st and obc are alotted as per there norms and the scholarship for the students living in RURAL areas also get benefit of scholarship, they had to submit copy of domicle certificate and submit scholarship form for the same.

Campus Life

3

You won't be getting much campus life, other than fifteen days that you spend at study centre while laboratory work about diversity, you would find learners from different cities and different knowledge they had you would be getting better equiped laboratory with best teachers teaching you laboartory work.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel facility is dependent upon the study centre for me it was Government Institute of science, nagpur which had somewhat good hostel facility and other resource it is not compulsory to live in hostel during your laboratory practical schedules you can also get in some where else you have to submit respective application for hostel room before the practical schedule to the study center.

Alumni/Alumna

The member of IGNOU which i had meet have inspired me alot they where those who had written the study material provided by university senior students helps us in choosing proper credits to proper discipline the conselling session conducted are too interactive which clears you doubts and make you feel that the teacher infront of you clearing your doubts are highly qualified.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
