4 year awesomeness.

Ya it's very good college but it's not strict and they are more focused on academics. They support was not given to sports and extra curricular activities.

CET, my ranking was around 10k, I wanted to join mechanical engineering and this was the better collge was better in mechanical engineering course in Mysore, so I opted this in the counselling .

The mechanical engineering course is very vast and you have to choose a particular stream in which you are very much interested and concentration on that stream deeply you can't master all the streams so it's better to pick your favourite stream and do research on that stream.

No our college didn't take us to any of the internship. There was no internship for us. But they took us for some industrial visit.

There was good placements in our college but not in our department. There was no much core companies coming to our branch. But however we got placed in IT companies. All the branches were combined for the recruitment. We didn't get much opportunity to get placed in a core companies but there was ample amount of IT company jobs.

We conducted many events in our college. There is an entrepreneurship club in our college which conducts E-week every year where we bring out the entrepreneur skills of all the students. And we conduct vidyuth which is college cultural festival. And vidwath is a college technical fest.

Since I got admitted into this college by CET the fees structure was around 45 thousand and I come from a middle class family and it's feasible for me. But if you have got admitted by the COMED-K the fees structure is around 1.5 lakh and it's not so feasible.

As far as I know scholarships was available for those with caste certificates and they were given like 12 thousand per year, and our college used to provide some cash money for the toppers.

It was being in our college for 4 years since I studied in mechanical engineering course there were only boys but in electrical and electronics departments girls were dominating. We have a good reputation in sports. But not much encourage was given to us in sports and extracurricular. And they have conducted some workshops on robotics.

Ya our college hostel is best. Hostel is so neat and tidy. There are people to clean the hostel every day. And rooms are like sharing ,2 in a room. Food is very good, hygienic, tasty and healthy. But it's bit costly , hostel fees is around 60 thousand per year. There are PG's available near by and it costs 4 to 5 thousand per month.

Ya we had connections with the alumini, but they were not visiting often so couldn't get much help from them. But when we see them in outside world they would share their experiences.

It's a semester basis, we will having couple of semesters for every year that makes total of 8 semesters for 4 years for the completion of the course. The question paper was for 100 marks and it will didvided into 2 parts. Each part consists of 4 main questions and you have to answer total of 5 questions selecting minimum of 2 questions from each part. Each main question carries 20 marks.

I was allotted Mech engg course by CET chosen by me. I was given i letter from CET counsling department and I took that letter to college and paid my fees and gave them my documents of 10th marks card 2nd pu marks card my study certificates and then got admitted.

In our college all the lectures are very well qualified and well experienced especially in our branch. All the faculties are student friendly and help you lot in your curriculum. They are bit strict but they always there for you when needed. They help you out very well in your projects and researches.
