Remarks

Because of great ROI, a decent number of opportunities and a great legacy of BHU. The college has 100% placements. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 9 LPA. IT and BFSI companies in the name of Infosys, IBM, Wipro, SBI Life etc are the reputed recruiters.

Course Curriculum Overview

Helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the faculty members are ready to help and they also offer career counselling. The course curriculum is relevant and it has much theory and practical. The syllabus is revised by faculty at regular intervals.

Internships Opportunities

100% of students get the internship from college but many prefer to get their internship on their own. In terms of stipend offered, the average is about 10k. We have a T&P Cell and that's very efficient on pitching different companies.

Placements have been good. Many companies like DHL, SBI Life, IBM etc. have visited the campus. The median package is close to 7.2. Variety of roles were offered including Assistant Managers, Associate Consultant.

Fees and Financial Aid

For MBA and MBA-IB, it is about 1 lakh excluding the hostel facilities. The college has the best ROI. College is good with less fee and decent placement. Almost every year the average salary package is of 7.2 LPA.

Campus Life

The campus of Banaras Hindu University is very big, which is over 1,300 acres and greenery. Hostel life is very good with decent food quality and everyone is doing good over here. The exposure and infrastructure are decent on the campus.

Interview Experience

During the final selection process of MBA/MBA-IB, 50% weightage is given to CAT, 20% weightage to academic records. Group discussion and Interview comprises of 30% weightage. For MBA-AB, a well-written entrance test is conducted by the university followed by GD and PI.

The curriculum is outdated to say the least. I was guided by a family friend to study here. The curriculum will not help us in the corporate world. There are other options such as the incubation center and placement cell where you can volunteer to enhance your resume.

Admission:

The college requires the candidate to have at least 50% in his Graduation, further they are shortlisted through CAT,MAT etc and then called up for personal interviews as the final step of the admission process.
