Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Computer science and engineering is my course, i choose that course because I want to invent something new. I want to improve technology in my nation software is one which there is a more competition in that field it's very tough to get job in that field so I want to be a one in that field.

Internships Opportunities

Internships for professional careers are similar in some ways but not as rigorous to apprenticeships for professions, trade and vocational jobs,[3] but the lack of standardization and oversight leaves the term open to broad interpretation.[4][5] Interns may be college or university students, high school students, or post-graduate adults. These positions may be paid or unpaid and are usually temporary. Generally, an internship consists of an exchange of services for experience between the student and an organization. Students can also use an internship to determine if they have an interest in a particular career, to create a network of contacts, or to gain school credit.

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
