Remarks

My college is of the most reputed college in Bandra West. The best thing it is known for is it's a crowd. M.M.K has a high selection criterion which gives the college great students. The other things which I like the most are the cleanliness, strict rules, best staff and a great canteen. Besides this, it has the best faculty. They help students in every way possible. The admission process is simple and merit-based. And the reason to prefer this college is it's reputation as well as it's services. I have found this amazing college through university website.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose B.M.S as my course. The reason for choosing this course is because I was extremely interested in Management Studies. Plus it had a highly qualified faculty for the same. The faculty included 10 professors for every 60 students in a class. The best part was the interactive teaching method. I didn't have to go to classes because I use to remember everything taught by the professors. And it had competitive term exams every 6 months with internal exams.

Internships Opportunities

5

Yes, our faculty used to give us an offer for internships as well. We got some offers from the 2nd year of our college to get into internships offered by different companies. They advised us and helped us to get the internships offers. Some companies were Edelweiss, Motilal Oswal, etc with a stipend around 6k-8k per month. Since we were finance students, we got offers in the same department only.

Placement Experience

5

Due to the good reputation of this college, we had a lot of companies from different sectors reaching out the college for placements. Some of them were Media.net, Murugappa, etc. Almost 75% of students used to get placements every year from college. The companies used to offer an average package ranging from 250000 to 300000 p.a.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure included yearly fees of 18000 for the first year, 16000 for the second year and 15000 for the last year. I didn't experience any hike in the fees. There were certain scholarships for deserving candidates as well. Talking about the placements, several companies from different industries reached out to the college. Some of them this year were Media.net, Murugappa, etc.

Campus Life

5

One of the best things about this college is its campus. Though it is not big enough, we still use to have a lot of fun. Many companies used to have their stall on the campus for promotions and had a lot of fun activities. Plus the canteen is just amazing with a wide variety of food available. We had our annual fest called Lakhsya every year. It was always fun organizing.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, the course alone can't prepare you for real world applications. It's important to learn some skills before getting into job market. The course is pretty theory based and doesn't have a practical approach. The only skill thing that college helps with is public speaking through presentations. The teaching methods are also very much traditional type. So it's better to learn some extra skills and get experience, that can help you get your ideal job.
