Remarks

DMS, IIT Delhi is in the top 10 colleges for MBA in India as per the NIRF rankings. Experienced faculty and a good placement record add to the reason I joined DMS. Admission process: 1) CAT exam 2) WAT/GD 3) Personal Interview. I checked the DMS website for selecting the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very experienced faculty. The curriculum is fit to the modern-day evolving business practices. The student strength is 113 and faculty strength is around 30. Relative grading and examinations are conducted twice in 3 months.

Course Fees: INR 960000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many MNC companies and prestigious companies visit DMS to get their employees from the budding batch. The process is smooth in each Sep of the hiring. More details are available on the DMS website about placements.

Placement Experience

Though this year was quite difficult, even for the MBA students who look for their summer internship opportunities. But DMS has sailed over this tide to get every member in the junior batch placed for their summers.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were around 9.60 lacs for a complete MBA. This includes hostel fees, Academic fees, and every other cost. Bank loans can be availed for the fees. Summer internship placements opportunity with salary is provided.

Campus Life

Due to corona, everything went online even the annual fest, sports fest and every other fest. E-library was made accessible to every student. The classroom teaching was through online meetings. Many clubs and committees are there in DMS.

Interview Experience

All basic Interview questions such as tell me about yourself, goals, passion etc. I had WAT round and an interview after that. For our batch, we had a common process for all the IIT colleges offering MBA. I prepared with career launcher.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Placement Experience:

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is mostly aligned towards Economics but you don't need to have prior experience in the field, you can start afresh and still excel. I picked this course specifically for the Analytics part of it.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Our college has a record of 100 % Placements. We get great placement opportunities and networking opportunities at IIT Delhi for both summer placements and final placements. Moreover, we are given a lot of study material to learn about every domain. If a person is willing to put their best efforts, best opportunities are awaited for them.
