Remarks

I wanted to pursue a career in Management and FMS Delhi is one of the best business schools in India which offers specialization in Marketing. As an MBA student at FMS, I am getting the opportunity to learn from the world-class faculty and also the strong alumni networks help me to know about the current ongoings in the industry.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very flexible as in the second year we are allowed to select the stream after taking courses from every stream in the first year which helps us to make better decisions while selecting the stream. The faculty is very approachable and we can contact them anytime to clear our doubts.

Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provides summer internships to every student as it is mandatory. Students do it in the field they are interested in as opportunities are available in every domain, be it Marketing, Finance, Operations, or Consulting.

Placement Experience

As FMS is one of the best B Schools in the country, everyone got placed in both summers and in finals. Median CTC for final placements is around 24 LPA whereas for summer intern is 2.3 Lacs. All the major companies of consulting, marketing, finance, general management, and operations arrive at campus every year to participate in the placement process.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee at FMS Delhi is the lowest among the best B schools in the country. The total fee for the course is just 2 Lacs. People easily earn more than this with their summer interns and live projects during the course only.

Campus Life

Fiesta is one of the largest fests in central India. All the clubs come under MSA, the association which looks for all the student activities. There are more than 15 clubs including cultural clubs, academics related clubs, and sports-related clubs. Students can join the club as per their interests. Various societies such as ConClb, FinSoc, HRSoc helps students to prepare for their summer and final placements.

GD/PI happens every year for admission except this year as GD/PI got cancelled this year due to Covid 19. This year admission happened on the basis of CAT Score and 10 and 12 marks but GD/PI is proposed for the batch of 2021-2023

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Truth about jims kalkaji

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package
