Remarks

The college management was really supportive. Nothing bad in my viewpoint. I never found any discrimination and favoritism. JSSATE is a very good college and gives the students very good facilities. The rest is upto the student who wants to be what.

Entrance Preview

I scored 117 rank in UPMCAT and JSS was my first choice in the counseling and I bagged it. I got lots of feedback from different sources and I personally visited this college before counseling. It was really good and found that the hostel facility amazing and cheap. Finally during the counseling I bagged this college and was happy.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very competitive and specially the final year is full of industry experience and project work. I will say that the curriculum helped me to develop all the industry related skills and prepared me for the silicon valley. The .Net and Java course was really helpful to compete any other engineering graduate in the country and I took the advantage of it.

Internships Opportunities

At my time there was few companies like Tech Mahindra, JK Tech etc came for placement and gave the selected students internship as well. I didn't got any internship through placement but found one because of my ability(I guess). Overall if you work hard, its easy to find companies who will take you.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement facility was good and got to sit many interviews. Companies like accenture, persistence, cognizant, jk tech, tech mahindra, infosys, tcs, wipro etc came for interview. Many of our student got selected and I got selected in a Bangalore based company through off campus selection. Packages range was between 2.4 L to 3.6 L.

College Events

4

We celebrate Independence day, republic day, cultural fest, tech fest and inter college tournaments. I participated in many sketching and painting events and got awards. I also represented my college for various inter college fests. There is a society called Nibble society which holds tech based events and is quite recognized by different colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is quite feasible and I got an educational loan for the same. I will say among private colleges, JSSATE fees structure is quite low and affordable. The facilities it gives is worthy enough to pay such a fees. The fees structure was 72000 a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was an in-campus bank where our accounts were been created and they also helped us in getting education loans. UP government run a scholarship only for SC ST candidates otherwise I don't know about any other scholarship. I availed education loan from United Bank of India.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life was amazing and very rich in inter cultural fests. There is a temple inside the campus and we celebrate janmashtami, durga puja, ganesh chaturthi etc. Every year we conduct different events and it was really fun to participate. I participated in many events and sports meets.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility was very good. Spacious rooms and good quality mess food. 3 students per room and students can bring there coolers if required. During winter we were allowed to use heaters and blowers. The food quality was really good. The hostel cost was Rs 24000 a year which was very reasonable.

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni network is also very strong. We regularly visited our seniors and super seniors and used to get many tips from them. They helped us to do our internships as well. I am still in touch with many of our seniors. I will say that many a times my seniors helped me in project completion and also taught us complicated topics like automata theory etc.

Exam Structure

The sessionals and practicals helped a lot to prepare and I will say it was really good. The labs are among the best labs in the country with all the facilities. Students can access the lab till late evening which was really good. The professional courses are always such that you can learn how to work under stress, pressure and deadlines. My college did all this for me.

Admission

I took an entrance test UPMCAT(now the name has been changed). I got good rank and during counseling I gave JSSATE as my first choice. The forms are to be applied in the month of Jan-Feb and written exams are in April. Counseling happens in June-July and course commences from August-September.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties of JSS is awesome and few star faculties were Wrinkaj goel, Dipti etc. I will say that more than faculty we need a friend who will help us to shape up for the industry. The faculties really did a great job and at the same time I will say they were also like our friend. I always got help from them whenever required. This really helped me.

If , any how student not got placed in gla then the quality of quant , english and reasoning they give us sufficient to easily clear any government exam and if student want to take placement offline it will also other option for them and If student wants to go in teaching they can teach in private schools to and open coaching center and if they want to do their self work they can open up their start ups too and college will support in starts up and invested in that at least 60-70% student will got placed . The highest package in mca is 3.15 lakh in Capgemini as 23 student from mca placed in Capgemini. Student will eligible from third sem to be part of placement drives and till now I have become part of 30-35 comapiens from which I have got placed in green rider technoly but due to hiring freeze I have to fail to get placed but the most disgusting problem is that if you are placed in one company they will block you from palcement no upcoming mail will be come for concent so this should be change because I have too suffer because if that time when I have placed in green rider 4-5 comapiens are attend by me but they blocked me so I have biggest advantage from this process..
