Remarks
FMS, Delhi is one of the best B-Schools in India. The college looks around the overall development of the student. Also, the college is running through the student running body which makes students explore even more according to their strengths & weaknesses. The faculty members are well-known and helpful to the students. The admission process is really smooth and checks the knowledge rather than the scores. One must focus on extempore and speaking skills. The admission process for each year is being uploaded on the official website (www.fms.edu).
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is great which is distributes in 4 semesters, 2 semesters each year. The curriculum covers the understanding of real businesses and how they work. Also, it covers different domains like marketing, accounting, finance, etc. The curriculum is not only about theory, it covers the practical aspects as well. The faculty members are well-known and helpful. Currently, the faculty to student ratio is nearly 1:10. As I mentioned there are 2 semesters each year, so 2 end semester exams each year with the internal assessment.
Internships Opportunities
The college does offer the summer internship process. The major requirement to tackle the internship process is to be ready with CV and your HR answers. If the CV and the HR answers are well prepared then you can ace the internship process.
Placement Experience
The placements are really good compared to several other B-Schools. Currently, the average CTC is 23.2LPA with 100% placement rate. The students get an opportunity to choose the domain according to their interests. The highest CTC was 48LPA in the year 2019.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is being provided on an official website each year. The fees are quite affordable compared to other B-Schools in India. Top 10 students get the scholarship and also there are different scholarships which are being updated to the students.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty good, even though the first semester was online the teachers and seniors put extra efforts to provide the best experience of campus life. As the college comes under Delhi University, the library is accessible for the students. There are different clubs for extra-curricular activities which helps to develop an overall personality.
Interview Experience
Apart from GD/PI, the college takes extempore. So, be prepared for extempore. Be real and honest. The admission process looks for overall knowledge and not just scores. So, try to catch up with current affairs and everything that you had pursued in life till now.
