Entrance Preview

I gave VITEEE 2016 and I got a rank of around 20k it was an easy exam with 125 questions 40 from each physics, chemistry, math, and 5 questions from English.

Course Curriculum Overview

About academics everything is good. You will get many opportunities here to show your talent but along with that you have to do your best and you have to grab every opportunity given to you. You also have to study some extra subjects like Evs Humanity which have no use in engineering.

Internships Opportunities

I think they provide internship as I am in the first year I don't know much about it but you will definitely get opportunities to visit industries, companies and also foreign universities.

Placement Experience

If you talk about placements Vit is one of the finest private colleges in our country. Most of the students get their job in campus placements themselves. And in my branch, all the students will get a job that is confirmed. Min package is like 3.50 LPA and average package for cs and it is 7lpa and many students get package above 10 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure depends on your rank if you are under 20 k then u will have to pay only 1.50 LPA but if u are above 20k then fees will differ and will gradually increase according to your rank maximum fee is 6 LPA. But in my view, if do not have any good option other than Vit then u can pay high fees also.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the scholarship is there for students who are under 20k in VITEEE. Indian Bank provides a loan facility of 15 lakhs at low interest.

Exam Structure

Exams happen in 3 phases, unlike other universities. CAT 150 marks paper weightage than converted to 15 marks. CAT 2 is an open book exam and the rest of everything is the same as CAT 1 but questions are very tough. CAT 100 marks paper converted to 40 marks. And rest 30 marks are for assignments.

Admission

There is a counseling process in 2 phase I was qualified for 2nd phase counseling and in 2nd phase also there are 4 category which differs in fees so every category has some seats for every branch so everybody has equal chance to get CSE you can get CSE if u'r under 30k as I got CSE.

Faculty

Some faculty are good some are worse. But most of them are Ph.D. holders and if we compare them with faculties of other colleges (private). They are far better than them. But most of them are strict. You have to maintain 75% attendance if you want to give your exam.

DRNGPIT is a tough gig to survive!!

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are allowed to attend the placement. You know everyone first priority would be going into the iits or nits if you won't get a seat there you search deemed to be colleges like vit amity , I choose vit as my college over iiit sri city which I got seat in it because vit has more exposure than iiit sricity and the main choosing vit was you get good college life with a beautiful campus, the people surrounded in vit are more better and knowledable compared to other colleges like amity, amrita,satyabamma and I aslo thought of going into amity and but I am that I am in vit I think it's better in every corner from that as per placements, college life and even faculty .
