Remarks
Good: Bus connectivity is good. Infrastructure is quite good with good labs. Non ragging campus with hostel facilities. Faculties are very friendly, Parking is free, has van facilities, Soft skills, aptitude GD and etc training are given to students in placement training. Bad: College's performance in every aspect is above average but not outstanding. Being in any cultural and technical team/clubs is difficult, as there are not many clubs. I was admitted under Kcet, once you have opted this college you have pay Cet fee (get your admission ticket then visit college, college management will guide you through their procedure and fee payment, college fee has to paid and you will get admission in 20 min. Placements were good, as there was good bus conductivity I could travel in bmtc rather than opting for college van, Got to know about this college in career Utsav, siksha.com.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I'm from Electronics background I wanted to pursue in EEE, and department of EEE is quite awesome, they have good labs and professor are friendly and helps in all concept and studies. There are about 480 students in EEE department combined all 4 years, and lecturer is about 20, so faculty: student ratio is 1:14. All faculty have done masters and some with a doctorate degree, teaching methods are quite good and they have deep knowledge and helps students. Every month has internals, and end sem exams are asper VTU, hard work is required to pass this exam.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from 7th sem TCS, Wipro, Adobe, Infosys, Mahindra and other companies, their offer varies from year to year. 70% of students get placed, more placements are in the IT field. Do my master's degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fees hike, the same fee has to be paid for all the years. Eg:( my 1st-year total fee was 89640 which includes Kcet fee and college fee and my 2nd-year fee was also 89640 which include examination and Tution fee). Epass and other govt. the scholarship is available. The college will provide instalment facilities for fee payment.
Campus Life
"Sankalp"- conducted in April. "Lashya" - conducted in December. Hackaton, cultural activities are done frequently. Library has study related books and magazines, newspaper etc. All Students get free access to ebooks like Mcgraw hill, Elsevier, Taylor and Francis, knimbus, Netanalystic, Turnitin etc. All classroom has projectors, good light and air circulation. Every year sports week is arranged and intercollege competition is held, special events for Kannada rajyotsava, women's day, independence day, republic day etc will be conducted CAT, NSS etc clubs are available.
