I had given IPUCET and got a rank of 9k in all over India. I also had a good rank in AIEEE but I was not getting good colleges from it. I opted for northern India engineering college among many different IP college options available to me because of its praises from my seniors about great infrastructure and nice faculty with great engineering curriculum.

The course curriculum is very well planned and designed. It always encourages students to focus on having more hands on experience and research. Faculty always emphasises on research in each and every subject for thorough understanding. However I feel it can be improved further.

Initially there was no management of internships from college. However when I was in 4th year with the change in management of TPD cell,college had started arranging for the internship as well by tying up with some companies and students were selected on interview and merit basis.

With the joining of new director of college, Mr. G P Govil and new members of placement cell. Many companies started visiting the college and placement structure improved significantly. I myself got placed in Infosys from campus placement. Companies like Infosys, CSC, capgemini and many more came and placement on 2015 was around 80 percent atleast.

We had annual sports meet, cultural fest, freshman induction, farewell parties along with many time to time celebration of events by many societies and clubs of our college. Many tech challenges were organised on inter college level and our college also used to participate and win in many national level competitions as well.

No, as far as I know our college didn't provide any scholarship or loan facility. Students had to take loans from banks. I didn't avail any loan, but any scholarship was also not there which a student can get. This was a thing which college should consider since many students who come to join college needs some financial support.

There was no hostel facility, so outside Delhi students had to make their own arrangements. Canteen was there but food quality was very low compared to the prices they had set. Timely checks were done bit it was not sufficient to maintain the quality.

Yes, my college runs a very active alumni network and organises a alumni meet annually. This year it's scheduled in November first week. When I was a freshman, I use to get in touch with many seniors which helped me a lot in preparing myself for the placements.

Exams are conducted all alternate months on internal level and semester wise exams are conducted at university level. Each exam consists of lab practicals and theory exam as well. I will not call it hectic, neither chilled out. It was perfect for self assessment.

Faculty were all good and experienced. Except a few, most of the faculty members were themselves involved in some research projects and they use to encourage students for the same. Mr Achin was an expert of Java and helped me publish some white papers of mine as well. Mrs Tanvi rustagi of cs department was also very supportive during my projects.
