Remarks

The college has a nice study environment and very affordable fees. Also, the college location is very nice and easily accessible. The metro station and bus stops are at walking distance. But the college campus is small in size and has an ongoing land dispute. Admissions are taken on the basis of the JEE mains entrance exam after which you apply for IP University counselling procedure. The most important reason to choose this college is that it is government and also it has a very low and affordable fee structure which allows you to complete your BTech in just 40 thousand per year. Also, it's connectivity and accessibility are some prominent reasons to choose this college over others. You can refer to the college website in which you can find information about the college, it's the function, extracurricular activities and all the other stuff. The website is managed by the college administration's web development team and has all the information you need to know.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose ECE because I find it interesting and also has a lot of scope in future. The faculty students ratio of this college is one of the best in Delhi. There are around 200 teaching staff for an intake of 180 students per year. All the teachers are UPSC qualified and have great experience in teaching. They teach according to the curriculum prescribed by GGSIPU. It isn't too hard to pass the term exams if you study the syllabus well. In one semester there is a mid-term and an end-term exam.

Placement Experience

3.5

From sem 7 you become eligible for Campus placements. Various companies like Mahindra, Godrej, MongoDB etc come to the college for placement purpose. For 100 students who sit for Campus placements around 90-95 get placements ranging from 12-15 lacs per annum to as low as 2.5 lacs per annum. Average package is of 4.1 lacs as of now. Many students like me prefer to study further and prepare for exams like GATE, CAT, UPSC etc. so many students don't sit for Campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Once you are enrolled you will graduate on the same fees structure which is one of the perks to study in a government college like this. The fee is affordable and low. You can get a scholarship by the Delhi government. For which if you have a ration card you will get 25000 back, for a family income of up to 8lacs you'll get 12500 back.

Campus Life

3

The college campus is very small so there isn't much space to play any sports, but the college has a football, basketball and a cricket team. Out of them, the basketball team is most active. The library has all the books you need for the course and a few more books and magazines to freshen up your mind. Also, there are cultural societies like BUNIYAAD the theatre society and ABHILASHA the fine arts society. The classrooms are equipped with a projector and whiteboard, but there is no AC and wifi available.

Other Applied Colleges

Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies | Computer science and engineering

I didn't opt for this college as it was far away and didn't had a good track record in comparison to the college i am currently enrolled in.
