UPSEE 2010 Score- Rank 2115, ABES was very well known college, i had hear about it from many of relatives and it was near to my native place. About 25 km which can be daily accommodated.
Placement Experience
Yes they do provide placement, but for MCA student, i found they are little less engaged in getting internship or placement. Trust me i faced too much problem in getting job as college only provides opportunity for candidate with having through out 60%. I was having more than 75% from +12 on wards but due to less marks in 10th , i din't get any good opportunity.
College Events
College used to organised many events that not only limited to technical but cultural as well, Genero- this is college Technical cum cultural event which happened every alternative year. Fest with Zest- this is Annual event of MCA department. Alumni Cricket Match.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility and scholarship both offered by ABES, they do provide all the support to fill the scholarship application and help in processing it as well. They do provide quotation and other document needed for availing the loan.
Alumni/Alumna
Well at my time in college, alumni network was not so famous, but now it has became. They are using alma mate which is kind of alumni social networking site. That allow people to connect and post the job and get reffered.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was pretty balanced, 3 times internal exam, 2 best of 3 ,they considered for sending to final mark sheet. They do organised , exam as per equal distribution of syllabus, which leads to good preparation of exam. Some times i found that hostel people used to get the exam paper before the exam which actually put a big question mark on the System.
Admission
I appeared in the UPSEE counselling , my rank was quite enough for getting entry into ABES but in first counselling i choose some other college then after keeping in mind some factor (like distance from home and education system).
Faculty
Faculty of College was very qualified and engaged. We never felt that we could miss any thing in the syllabus. Anyway ABES has very competitive procedure to hire new faculty, so people with sound technical knowledge only can clear it.
