Remarks
It chose this college as I could attend the classes as a day scholar. It has good faculty guidance and an amazing campus. The hospital close by gives us enough exposure to a good number of cases and helps us in practical learning over just theoretical learning. The hostel facility is also good. They charge about 1 lakh for a year which is worth the expense as they provide us with good food and other amenities. The bus facility is good making it possible to travel from any part of the city to the college. The college conducts fests every year in an organised manner and helps us in bringing out all our skills. It has a good library with all the medical books required which helps us with the course. Overall choosing this college over the other medical colleges in Bangalore was a great option. Since the past year, our college has become a deemed university affiliated with anna university Chennai making the students come closer a step to the other deemed universities. Pass success rate 100%.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course as in MBBS is beyond just a course but it was my passion since I was 10. The faculty is just great and teachers support us in all possible ways. We have internals once in 3 months and our final exams once in a year. It was overall a very good choice.
Placement Experience
Since it is a medical college. There are not many direct placements. We secure a good result and our next exam score decides the college we get placed or the pg course we shall be pursuing. My plans after getting this degree would be to pursue a course in general surgery.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is about 143000 for a govt seat, 783000 for a private seat and 1.4c for a management seat. I got a govt seat in this college making it not a big deal as in financial issues. The college offers scholarships too.
Campus Life
The campus is great. The classrooms are big and spacious and well ventilated. We have a good AC system making it a great experience at the college. We have intercollegiate fest once in a year helping us show cast our talents.
Interview Experience
We had no group discussion for the admission process. It was entirely based on the kea seat allotment. The kea grants the seat based on our eligibility criteria and marks secured. The neet and kea pattern is a simple admission procedure.
