Remarks

Very knowledgeable teacher with a great experience. Great campus with all types of security like camera guards(12 guards around the campus). Very friendly director sir. Regarding practical knowledge, teachers do it best for giving that. In the civil department, we have a site visit, fieldwork etc. The admission process is through GGSIPU admission procedure JEE exam score is necessary. The reason, why you should take admission, is minimum fees and easy transportation you can easily get rikshaw from kashm gate hardly 5-10 min away the metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil Engineering is my passion and I love how buildings were designed and made. Teachers here are PhD degree holder and few teachers are Mtech degree holder. Teaching method here is through classic board system plus smart class also there take us for field studying and practice is done through proper practical instrument no PowerPoint system teachers make us perform the practicals. Exams held after every 3 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

After a 6th-semester student is eligible for placement. Infosys, Amazon, Flipkart, Google. 22 lakhs per anum. 80% of students are getting a job. My plan after BTech is I will go for masters than after that I will start my professional life.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 1.1 lakh per aunum. You can get govt scholarships from this college and also they have there own scholarship procedures. Campus placements are not very good for the civil department as not many company comee here as compared to computer science department. But not very less company come here sufficient companes came here.

Campus Life

1 annual fest held at end of the year, 1 main fest at our GGSIPU campus,1 fest held at mid of year mean after Navratri. The college has a basketball court, football court, badminton court, kabaddi ground, tug of war space, table tennis chess carom.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
