It had a good ranking as an engineering college. It was recommended by some of my seniors. One of the best tier1 colleges from my stream. The admission process started with my CAT score, I was eligible for the college and after visiting the college I was assisted by the admin office for the admission process. My admission process started in the month of July 2016, and my admission was done on 1st August 2016. Well selecting college was done and prioritized by me on the basis of multiple factors. I had a quota in the Ministry of External Affairs, which gave me a pool of 50 colleges funded by the government, out of that I arranged my preference on the basis of there branding that is NITs and then other colleges. Out of NITs, I arranged them in order of their ranking that's what lead me to NIT Warangal and I was also getting my preferred stream there so i got admission. I did check multiple websites for referring to the top institutes in India. I don't remember specifically.

I was interested in robots and mechanisms initially, so I pursued Mechanical engineering. There is 1 faculty to 50 students approximately. All the faculties are well versed in their specialization. There are multiple examinations throughout the semester. This includes midterms, minor terms, and end terms.

I didn't receive an internship, I didn't maintain a good pointer in my academic year. Some internships offered by my companies also offer PPOs. We have to do a final year project for completing the Btech course.

From the 5th semester, we are eligible to sit for an internship opportunity that is widely based on your socred pointer. Multiple core companies and PSU's visited including Bajaj, HPCL, ITC, ISRO, etc. The percentage of placed students will be around 60%. I wanted to pursue management after Btech.

The price hikes are not controlled by the college it's controlled by the government that is the MHRD. I didn't receive any scholarship or financial assistance. I did get a job in the month of October 2020 as Business Development Manager.

We have a cultural and technical fest, which is SpringSpree and Technozion. SpringSpree is organized in March and Technozion is done in October. There is a wide variety of clubs and associations to be part of.

I was provided with a single room. We have to shift every year to a new hostel. We had internet in the hostel. We had multiple messes with a good choice of food. Registration is done prior to the start of semester.
