Very good placements, Lush green campus, world class facilities (Labs, Library, E-Learning classes, sports grounds, Gym Facilities, Super Marts), Different clubs (music, Dance, racing, IEEE chapters, Developer clubs), Excellent faculty from all across the world, A fully flexible credit system

Course Curriculum Overview

we have a fully flexible credit system. A student gets to choose what subjects he wants to do, what semester he wants them to be completed in, what faculty he wants, what slot (Mor/Aft) he/she wants to take the subject in and much more.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I opted for internship at Intel (Bangalore). My profile was Deep Learning Intern and I was paid a stipend of 35K/Month

Placement Experience

placements are the best. You get many internship opportunities in good corporate companies and full time jobs as well which offer packages ranging from 6L to 25L on average (CTC). Entrepreneur Cell is very active and you get a healthy support and sponsorship from them if you have a startup. VICAARA was one of the startups that my friend started and they are really doing good now in the market. Thanks to VIT who trusted their credibility in initial days.

College Events

we have two major fests Riviera (cultural fest) and Gravitas (scientific Fest), we have many student clubs, NGO'S, etc. The fests are so big, Many colleges and students from across India come and participate. Fun games, stalls, food stops, workshops and many guests/celebrities come here for these events

Campus Life

Free WIFI, one of the bigget libraries in India, Good infrastructure for scientific labs, programming labs and Research. The sports facilities are the best and there are multiple gym facilities as well

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are the Best. Affordable Ac/NonAC rooms with proper canteens with south Indian/North Indian food options (veg/NonVeg). Clean washrooms and laundry facilities also available at reasonable prices.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.

I got good percentile in JEE so i was getting admission in few mid ranked and top NITs, but there was no CSE branch available in any top NIT and I specifically wanted CSE branch soo I applied for other entrances exams for SRM,Amrita,VIT and Manipal but out of all I preffered VIT because it has a good package and better NIRF ranking than even many NITs, also after bachelors I want to do masters from abroad and VIT has best reputation for CSE abroad when it comes to CSE.VIT accepts admission through VITEEE exam which asks questions from class 12th PCM, English and General aptitude...Read More
