Remarks
I'm interested to become a second-grade teacher. So I choose this is best to achieve my goal. My college is an excellent college, we usually call it as an Institution. Expansion of DIET is the District Institute of Education and Training. The admission process is taking as an entrance test. By qualifying this entrance test, then we have to attend to counselling process then after counselling. The college we got should be joined. My admission process happens in prakasam district, I attend for counselling and I opt my seat to study there. Through counselling, I got there and I preferably joined to continue in DIET Prakasam other than other colleges. Even I'm very much interested to study this kind of professional course. The website used is basing on different states. In AP state it is under the head of SCERT official websites.
Course Curriculum Overview
To reach my goal I have chosen this course. Even my interest in teaching to children is my aim. So I have chosen this one. An excellent faculty is available, whatever doubts we have should be clarified very soon. This course is for 2 years In the first year there are 10 papers as well as in the second year there are 10 papers. For each paper, each faculty is there. Students ratio is 1:50. Only no. of seats is 100 only in every DIETS both Telugu and English medium is available. Qualification of the faculty is a Master of Education (M. Ed). Even most of my faculty is also PhDs. The way they teach us is the very nice maximum they teach us "how to teach to students ".By using different types of teaching methods etc. Examinations should be conducted in last academic year of 1st yr and 2nd yr even terminal examinations are conducted twice in a year as terminal 1and terminal 2 then the final public examinations even Final teaching practicals should be conducted in DIETS.
Placement Experience
There is no campus placement in my college. After completion of this course, the student is eligible to write Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which is conducted both state and central government. After qualifying this TET the student is eligible to write D.SC i. e District of selection Commission. And then the student is appointed as a government school teacher in elementary and upper primary schools. If the student pass in the final public theory examinations then he is qualified for the above-mentioned measures. My plan after this course is to attempt for teacher eligibility test.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
If the student is from the daughter or son of govt employee they have to pay college fee as 2545 rupees, even OC students also have to pay the fee, the other students need not pay the fee. Govt of Ap only provides scholarship to students of SC, ST & OBC students. Even students get the scholarship of Jagananna vidya Delevan as 10,000 rupees scholarship. After completion of this course, the students are eligible to attempt in district selection of a committee to appoint as secondary grade Teachers.
Campus Life
There are so many fests conducted in the institution such as all National days should be celebrated even the annual function is celebrated, all kinds of days like National science day, Mathematics days, Telugu day etc; all these kinds of days are being celebrated in my Institution. There is a big library is there even the registration id is provided to each student. One register is also being followed there. All kinds of books are available in the library such as the teaching modules of different classes especially the books available there is related to our teaching methods. All kinds of festivals are celebrated as an extracurricular activities in the campus.
