Remarks

Sir Parshurambhau college is one of the most sought destination for students, which has gained reputation for commitment to high quality learning and teaching. The beautiful sprawling campus,heritage building which are as good as 102 year old,located in pune,which attracts students from different regions, ethnicity and culture and provide a vibrant and symbiotic ecosystem.S.P college is a forward looking,globally competitive education enterprise, where enquiry and innovation are encouraged and nurtured.The academic programs aim at imparting interdisciplinary knowledge with a broder vision,compassion value system and critical awareness of national and global issues.

Course Curriculum Overview

Dr.Surekha Gaikwad.She teaches Business management for second year students.She is very disciplined and teaches brilliantly.She treats all students equally and in good manner.Also she gives personal attention towards students

Maven.It is one of the biggest event of S.P College.This event is about 4 days.In this event various types of guidelines are given to the students through great personalities like entrepreneurs,government officers(IAS, IPS,etc),etc.Many guests are invited to the event.

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

I applied in this college because it is government college and is situated in the heart of the city where it was very easy to reach in addition there are many hostels nearby so the area is very reachable. My college is one of the best college in pune hence i applied in it and got admitted. I also applied in one other college but cutoff of that college was much higher. Eligibilty to get selected is clearing the cutoff of the college and having good previous academic performance.
