Remarks
First of all I got this first in my counselling, Then it was nearest to my home ,and had great facilities and faculties from old and prestigious colleges. It has good hospital and PHCs attached to the college, a necessity for medical students. It is a ragging free campus .
Course Curriculum Overview
Our MBBS course was updated to CBME (competency based) in 2019,thus the first batch to encounter the updated corse. The hospital visits were increased and a lot of practical exposures under ECE (early clinical experience) were done for us. Every Department faculty were given task to mentor us. But the best faculties were from PSM(Preventive and Social Medicine), popularly known as Community Medicine.
Placement Experience
In MBBS after Third Year part 2 NeXT will be conducted and this will function as entrance for PG cum eligibility for Internship.
College Events
A lot of events and extracurricular activities are hosted in this college . Events like PLEXUS,IMPULSE are held. All batches of college and faculties participate in it. Even festivals are celebrated here with resident doctors and students.
Campus Life
The institute have well equipped laboratory facilities for 100 students. Well Auditorium for almost 300 students. An attached library for students and faculties. There are football,basketball, volleyball, tennis and badminton courts/grounds.
Hostel Facilities
There are 04 hostels for students ,02 hostels for RDs and 04 buildings for Faculties and Non teaching staffs. There is attached Dinning Hall for students in each hostel. At the time of admission to college you will be alloted a hostel room. First year students are given single room and then from Second year students will get a room for three students. Rs 10000 for students is hostel fees includes electricity and water supply.
