Remarks

Government rules of cutting 50% seats for lateral entry students get me here. However after coming here, I recognised this college as much more appealing than I expected. Teaching and coordination between staff and teachers is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is as directed by Mumbai university and faculties are well guided and trained with their knowledge. The faculty coordinates well with the students and are polite enough to talk to them.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 96000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies visit every year in the campus to offer placements to large amount of people. Most of the IT students are placed in some or the other company with minimum of 3 lpa and the highest ranging to 7lpa.

College Events

The college is mostly for people who like to do things other than study since there is some or the other thing going on in the campus. The campus is always busy with various activities. Events are held in even semester competing with other branches.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is not that good and practical requirement equipments are faulty. However classes and boards are good. The campus ha a small ground not for roaming however the place is located near a peaceful area.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. 1) I had also applied for other colleges like Thakur college and Somaiya college and I got addmission in thakur but didn't take admission as I was getting Information technology branch as a cource. I got admission here through spot round i got a seat in vartak cs branch thru mh cet but it was a ews seat which was cancelled due to delay in ews submission because of an error from my side. keeping past aside i would say rgit is a decent clg but try for cs or it if possible and in case you want to get thrpugh spot round come asap and for management quota u should come before cap round 1 otherwise they charge u like crazy before spot round cs seat was for 6 lakhs after spot round it was available for 12 lakhs...Read More
