Remarks

My uncle is an assistant professor at this college. So, after my 12th exam he came to me and informed me about this college. After that, I've checked about Vimal Jyothi Engineering college in 'CollegeDunia'.I felt like, it's okay to choose this college for my higher education. One big reason for choosing this college is 'Collegedunia'. Am really sending them a lot thanks for helping me in that situation. I was really confused . One of the tough task according to a student is choosing a right path after plus two. For that Collegedunia helped me a lot. Bundles of thanks for them.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything is fine. VimalJyothi is a perfect college for a student for studying engineering. We are provided with good quality faculties, library, labs, Virtual reality lab, lab equipment, smart classroom etc. Syllabus is completed within the time and one month is spend for revision purpose.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

Computer Science have more placement oppurtunities. After that Applied electronics and instrumentation, Mechanical engineering, after electronics and communication, electrical engineering. Civil engineering branch does not have much placement offers. Even though some of the students are placed in this branch also. Companies like Infosys, TCS, BYJU'S and Indian NAVY etc visit our college every year.

College Events

In every year, fest like Onam, arts fest,tech fest,sports day is conducted at our college. More students will participate on every event, in which activity point is distributed. Certificates are distributed to all active participants later.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for Christian students are available, OEC scholarship are given, and scholarship for students those who have rank in between 1 and 20000 for KEAM exam conducted every year is given.

Campus Life

I've already mentioned about lab equipment. It is good in quality. Every students are allowed to use every equipment for their study and project purpose. Library consists of more than 2000 books. That is such a vast place one can sit and read peacefully. Students can enter to the library with a proper ID card only. E-Book facilities are also available here. IAS coaching is also provided here, if one is interested they can join. Wi-Fi is available at college campus. Our college is smartphone restricted area. So that, we can't use Wi-Fi for our personal use. It is only available for computer lab purpose. I don't know much about sports facilities. I think it is not bad. We have one vast ground and one basketball court for sports activities. In every year, sports day is conducted.

Am a day scholar I don't know much about College hostel.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
