Remarks

It is one of the best institutes of India, it is well renowned for the holistic development of undergrad students. The faculty, infrastructure and campus life are second to none. The college offers a diverse club activities along side mainstream academics which adds on to the personality of the student.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course syllabus is an extensive colletion of all the topics required fpr undergrad students and it is also updated with the latest techniques and technologies. We have been subject to ample opportunities and also given industrial exposure. All the members of the administration and faculty are very good.

Placement Experience

We have ample of placement and job opportunities. Renowned and fanous companies visit our college during the placement season every year. Students bag high earning jobs in varied job descriptions and are well placed everywhere

College Events

Our college is proud of hosting multiple events throughout the year and all kinds of extra curricular activities are promoted. We have clubs for singing, dancing, fine arts, coding, automotive prowess, social activism, environmental activism and many other.

Campus Life

We have all the latest facilities like gymnasium, parks, libararies, incessant wi-fi facilities in all the hostels and labs with latest equipments and experiment systems. We also have single roomed hostels for boys and double share rooms for girls. The rooms are spacious and very hygienic.

Hostel Facilities

Excellent hostel facilities and mess facilities. Our hostels have wifi facilities for 24*7. We also have running water for 24 hours everyday and well lit corridors and decent mess food. Our rooms are spacious and hygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

students get placemetns from the 5th semester and are also give training for a month. more company enter my college like tata ,mahindra, honda and etc. if you have good marks in you six semester and you answer the questions correctly , the company may offer you a high package,and you can also demand you package. for mechanical engineers 100%,electrical engineers 75%and other branch68%. i will work in the company after getting the degree

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

GPAT score is what taken into account and in 12th 60% or more is mandatory. Also JEE scores are considered but again baby IITs level of score is required and therefore students mostly come through GPAT here....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
