Remarks

Good placement, good study atmosphere and well equiped labs, good faculty and have good environment for studies which help a student to grow and secure a promising career and which has good quality people

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes we have a Triple I session which help the students to get good industry experience and the insights about the experience is added. The faculty is good, the syllabus by the University is updated higher and higher times

The placement and job opportunity of the college are good lots of companies come to the college and have picked lots of children and have good jobs in the society

The campus life is good and have good exposure, the college conduct shikar the intercollegiate fest which help in the students to build a good realtionship and various extracurricular activities such as club and sports are good for the students and have good competition among the students

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is scholarship availed by me and I don't know about this. I think there is scholarship for the backward students

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is good and spacious like the students have great enthusiasm to sport are encouraged, library is much bigger and good equipment of labs is good quality and students get good knowledge from the facilities

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I have opted hostel. The hostel rooms are well furnished and maintenaned and have good furniture with good place to study and explore our creative which help the students to learn and the hostel are good for the people and have good cause of nature

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I have actually 3 colleges in the list of confirmation. I choosed this because of the course. But the exposure and the building which also attracted me. It have a vast campus and very good atmosphere.The laboratories are air conditioned ,the classrooms are modern and have digitised.some of the college's I applied didn't have such facilities. I didn't get any rejection from any colleges.myself I choosed this college. The admission process is according to university criteria ,you must have 55% marks in UG degree and there is relaxation for students in specific categories. The only college under MG university which provied IMCA was Scms and De paul .Since scms is a well established and reputed college there was no second thought of joining the college .
