Remarks

Good reviews, Known for a good Economics course. Listed as one of the up and coming colleges in India. The college infrastructure is very good although it's limited to one building due to lack of space in Mumbai. Opted for this course because I liked Economics as a subject in school.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and syllabus are all encompassing with subjects from various other disciplines which one wouldn't normally find in an Economics Course. The teachers are mostly good though some of the teachers are new and inexperienced.

We have an Internship, Placement and Entrepreneurship Cell in college. The Internship cell is said to be good though not great, the same goes for the Placement cell though every year the number of placements and median package keeps increasing. The entrepreneurship cell is newly formed.

College Events

The campus life is good but the extracurricular activities are all small time, not on any big scale. There are 3 main inter-college events in the college. One is a sports festival, one is an Economics based festival and another is an Inter-college Debate competition. There are various intra-college events.

Hostel Facilities

Wish Foundation PG has great rooms. The rules are relaxed and the people are very lenient. It's close to the college, doesn't take more than 10 minutes for a one way ride. It's very easy to contact the PG officials in case of any issues or requests.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

placements can happen in any semester starting from 2nd semester, it completely depends on the companies which come to the campus for cadets. 95% of the cadets get placed at the end of their course. teh packages vary from 300000 to 1200000 per year. note that this is the stipend you get while training, once this training is finished and you have al the certifications and are medically fit for sailing you get ti earn 10 times more only after 2 years.

Placement Experience:

After completimg 2sem students are eligible for campus placements. Mock GD and interviews are conducted in 2 sem whivh will be assessed and will affect the overall SGPA. There are multiple companies like JLL, CBRE, Turner and Townsend, AWFIS, C&W, SPCL,GR Infra, GMR, Rider Levett Bucknail, Godrej, ICICI Bank, JWIL, Knight Frank, Savills, Vishwaraj etc. Around 98% of the students were placed from the campus interview. Profiles were for project management. Highest package was 28 LPA by Rider Levett Bucknail.

From 7th semester, the internship opportunities and full time placement opportunities starts to come, For my batch, Veritas, coditas , Worldline, Wipro, KPIT, CrelioHealth, Kylas these companies came with a good package which was greater tha 4 LPA. Highest package was from veritas 12 LPA, Kylas 7 LPA, and average was arount 3.5-4 LPA. Arount 60% students gets placed. I am placed with a good package through campus placement only

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students will be eligible for placements The placement criteria for placements is having 6.0 or above pointer in attempted semesters and they have to keep that grade up to the end of the course. The highest package was 30 lakh for Dubai bases company related to Real Estate and minimum Package was 3.75 lac for the freshers in Construction Project Management course. 40% of students get placed while 20% opted out and the rest of the students are still getting placement opportunities from the institute.
