Remarks

The best thing about the course is you would be learning some of the subjects that is related to other department may it be electrical, electronics etc. You will more enjoy being in clubs where you will learn a lot apart from your academics and will help you in your future someday.

Course Curriculum Overview

You will gain a very good practical experience in this branch. Most of the machines are present here, be it Fms robotics,3D printing Machine, and conventional and non conventional machines which will boast up your practical knowledge if you attend the labs regularly.

Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience

The companies recruiting production engineers are very few. For placements you have to focus more on off campus. Most students are recruited by IT Companies. The core placements are very few. If you aim for higher studies then you can opt for this branch.

The infrastructure and the faculty members are average. You mainly focus on self study to excel as most of the faculty members teaching methodology are below average. And you cannot rely on them. But you will surely will learn the art of learning and understanding by yourself.

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains.
