Remarks

I applied through AIR JEE Main rank and You need to be a resident of Odisha. The application form comes out in July on the official Ojee website and the Fees are 35k for normal and 80k for SSC students per year.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty good and advanced although the faculty is a bit lazy as with all government colleges. The semester exams are held on time barring the covid time where they were delayed and the exams are not a cakewalk.

Placement Experience

Students get PPO offers from the 6th semester onwards. A wide variety of companies visit for on-campus placements which is a great thing across all branches. Nearly 75 percent of students get placed every year with average of 6lpa offers

Fees and Financial Aid

The Yearly fees for normal students are 35k for all the branches in B.tech whereas for SSC students it is 80k in B.tech per year. There are ample opportunities for On Campus Placements for all the branches.

Campus Life

ÃƒÂ‡ampus life is awesome as burlap is a serene natural city full of students. The infrastructure of the college is good and there is also a good library. There are several technical and nontechnical clubs.

Hostel Facilities

There are different hostels for different years of students. A few hostels are new and clean while a few are pretty old and disastrous. The food is good in old hostels but in the new hostels, it is pretty average.

This college has very good placement stats as compared to other private colleges in the Eastern India. The faculty and staffs are supportive and help whenever asked.I opted for B.Tech in Information Technology as it is one of the most demanded area as per employment statistics.

Remarks:

Positive: A lot of exposure to the external environment. The diversity factor is high. Negative: The fees are quite high. But the things they would be providing are worth it. Lastly, a great salute to the KIIT TnP.

A good place to be.

Remarks:

• Pros : Teaching is good. Classes are good. Provided with all basic amenities in the hostel rooms. • Cons : Mess food can be levelled up. Hostel facilities can be improved. Infrastructure can be improved.

Remarks:

College is surrounded by beautiful nature. 7-8 km from college is Hirakud Dam which is the longest Earthen dam in Asia. The Place Burla which college is located is away from traffic and city chaos and is very peaceful place to roam around for getting peace of mind.

A good university with a good environment. Healthy atmosphere.

Remarks:

KIIT University is a heaven on earth for students. I would suggest. Please do apply for this university if you are interested and you won't regret. The only bad part, it's a private University. And people don't realize it's worth saying it's not a government University so they won't be able to provide jobs. It's a myth. Infrastructure and exposure wise this university is the best.

Remarks:

There are no negative remarks from my side as I feel everything very satisfying here. The campus is very huge and beautiful, consisting of all a student needs for studies and recreation. The campus is peaceful and well secured. The police station is very near in case of an emergency so the campus is very safe.

Entrance Preview:

JEE mains and my score was 145. My percentile was 95 in boards. I chose this college partly because my brother has passed out from same college n partly because it has a good reputation in case of campus placements. Nearly every student is placed from campus only.

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains. If u complete 12th and get about 400000 in jee mains rank we can easily get seat in our college if u want higher branch u have to get 80000 rank in jee mains. For reservation there some reservations like sc/St and PWD students...Read More
