Remarks

Placements are very good in bit mesra ranchi, national and international MNCs come in our campus for interview, lush green campus, professors are graduated from abroad and of very knowledgeable in their field.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is updated from time to time for better results. Faculties are very knowledgeable in their field. The department envisions is to cope with the fast changing pragmatic needs of the technology throughout the globe by adopting suitable new courses and modernizing of labs along with commensurate faculty development through research activities.

Course Fees: INR 1170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I've opted for online internship in machine learning field in shape.AI and got many goodies and swags and also got 15000 as stipend amount. You can just go to their official website and work for them as an intern.

Placement Experience

The placement session of 2019 at BIT Mesra concluded with 859 students getting job offers from various companies. In total, 141 companies visited BIT Mesra for recruitment. Some of the companies that visit BIT Mesra frequently are IBM, Infosys, KPMG and Oracle.

Campus life is very much satisfactory.There are many extra curricular activities and technical and cultural events like bitotsav, pantheon, dipoustav etc Bit Mesra is one of the beautiful campuses of the country.placements are good if you are from cse, electronics and communication,mca.for rest of the branches core companies are Average.

Gp birla scholarship - This scholarship amount for eligible students shall be determined based on their performance in the previous semester as well as their parents?? annual income (from all sources).

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is very good. Sports facilities, wifi gives highest speed of 4 Mbps. Size of library is very big, there are many equipments in labs just like of any international university.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life depends on your compatibility with your roomie. Campus has very good LAN Network - DC, we call it as a life line of College. All Information related with studies, Ebooks,College Info, placement guidelines, Movies,All stuffs are available.We call it as BIT Google.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

At BIT Mesra for our departments many cpre companies like Tatva Chintan, Laxmi Organics and Kanoria Chemicals were among some listed companies that came for placements. Luckily we are less in numbers and therefore 90% students from our batch were placed from here. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters from US.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
