Remarks

1. well connectivity 2. experienced faculties 3. large and green campus(800 acres) 4. neatness and cleanliness 5. industry aligned course curriculum 6. industry exposure 7. huge number of technical clubs(srijan, sime,etc) 8. decent placements 9. ragging free campus 10. in campus facilities such as banks, post office, general stores, cafeteria, etc

Course Curriculum Overview

1. syllabus is industry aligned. 2. syllabus covers most advanced topics as required by an engineer. 3. syllabus covers major topics that are asked in exams such as gate or ies. 4. teachers always motivate us to do research works and also provide topics for research. 5. advanced topics such as operations research, logistics and supply chain management are taught which are vital for someone who is aspiring to get into those core companies.

Class Size: 8Course Fees: INR 1375000 per year

Placement Experience

1. decent placements. 2. core mechanical companies such as tata motors, tata steel, tenneco automotive, etc come in our college for placements 3. majority companies are not branch specific. 4. placement department is really good. 5. strong alumni network.

College Events

1. bitotsav- annual cultural fest(5 day long) done on a huge platform and having numerous events. 2. vajra- annual sports fest(3 day long) 3. pantheon-annual tech fest having numerous events including band night, dj night,etc

Campus Life

1. huge sports complex. 2. fully air conditioned well maintained gym area. 3. international level basketball and badminton courts. 4. high speed wifi. 5. 2 storied library having huge collection of books. 6. labs are well maintained having each and every advanced machine and equipment.

Hostel Facilities

1. In the first year shared room is provided for boys from the second year onwards a single room is provided. 2. hostel rooms are not too big just sufficient for a single student. steel bed and steel table is provided from the hostel itself. 3. sanitization is done regularly. 4. shared washrooms. 5. 24*7 availability of wifi and electricity. 6. in summers water crisis becomes a major problem as they have limited sources of water. 7. mess food is not upto the mark.

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

students get placemetns from the 5th semester and are also give training for a month. more company enter my college like tata ,mahindra, honda and etc. if you have good marks in you six semester and you answer the questions correctly , the company may offer you a high package,and you can also demand you package. for mechanical engineers 100%,electrical engineers 75%and other branch68%. i will work in the company after getting the degree

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
