I choose this because of the It has got the rank of 3rd in india in terms of Petroleum sector also i got the its branch in the same petroleum sector.Also this college is very beautiful as it lies in the valleys of Dehradun

Course Curriculum Overview

UPES is a kind of university which is a bit different from other ones. It has its focus on industry oriented learning. They provide specializations even in b.tech. This helps the students to dive deep in their domain. Faculties are expert in their fields and they have very good knowledge of their subjects.

Thes secert UPES placements is because of Big tieups.They have industrial tie-ups with big names of the industry and have an excellent placement record. Now these are the same companies where our services will be hired and therefore as per placement standards packages of 50-60 thousand a month is what we will be paid.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

A big no for placements and a big yes for campus life

Entrance test for the programme is conduted based on the criteria that is above 60% admissions are provided. The professors of the university also conducts interviews before admissions in zoom. After all the process once the student clears the exam and interview admission is provided. I was enrolled in the university in the year 2018 as would say that I definetely wasted my 3 precious years and money offcourse. There were no placements also, just for small matters they send you from one person to other and for some university matters you will have to go other campus just for some signatures....Read More
