Remarks

The faculty members were all qualified and good personalities. They offered their guidance in order to shape our career in a better direction. Their full cooperation helped us not only to get through the session, but get placed in my dream organization.

Course Curriculum Overview

The entire study material along with sample papers were provided by the Institute. The course material was enough for the exams. We learned the disciplines of both production and servicing. The practical knowledge was the key, which also helped us during placement interview.

Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

The classroom knowledge helped me crack the placement interview. ITC Group of Hotels, TAJ Group, Hyatt Group, The Park, Fort Radission, Oberoi Group are some of the frequent recruiters from SBIHM. The placement package is also quite good.

College Events

The campus life is pretty good but the infrastructure is quite well fashioned. They should do something about it. All the faculty members pushed us to participate actively in all the extracurricular activities. It was great to see people with different skill-set showing their talent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.
