Remarks

Our college is the best. There are so many facilities provided by our college. There are no negative things. The teachers and staff are also as good as another college. I filled my details for the college. I got selected after the entrance test.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our faculty is the best in college. Our faculty contains with best teachers. They are well educated. They are also friendly. They help us so much. here are also some drama competition and also debate and quiz programs also held.

Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Placement Experience

The college students got many jobs after passing from the college. After their graduation, they got many jobs in many private companies.

College Events

Our college celebrated all the occasions like independence day, republic day, Mahatma Gandhi's Jayanti, Rabindranath Tagore birthday. Our college is famous for extra curricular activities. Every year sports held. In which all students participate and gave their best.

Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

My experience at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.
