Remarks

Good College worth the time spent and when there is good placements why look at other options.

Entrance Preview

Ours was the first batch, so there was no in-house entrance examination held, they considered AIEE rankings and 12th Marks as a selection criteria.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are good there are a number of companies which come during our 3rd year the opportunities given are good we are trained on how to attend these interviews well in advance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was feasible when we started now it seems it is costly specially if you are in the management quota.

Hostel Facilities

4

Not sure, because i was a day scholar but i had a chance to stay in hostel for couple of days every year since i was in the cultural's. Cleanliness: Good i heard that the food was not so great, there were issues then.

Alumni/Alumna

I am not much associated with the alumni group, though i wish to join them again some time soon seniors: Yes they are very helpful, we are still in touch with most of them my seniors belonged to VTU.

Admission

Since ours was the first batch, the process was not a big process those of us who were selected were called in for a discussion with the college admin and after a round of initial discussion the admission form and fees structure was shared and then the fees was paid after which the acknowledgment and confirmation of seat was guaranteed I chose Information Technology.

Faculty

They were good, a few had IIT back grounds and a few were pursuing M.Tech later i heard the levels were good enough and had competitive teachers.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
