Likes

The college focusses a lot on studies and actual teaching is done in classrooms.
The college provides innumerable opportunities for research activities.
The course is well defined and a lot of club activities take place for students.

Dislikes

Certain rules and regulations are very strict.
Even though infrastructure for all sorts of sports is available, competitions are not promoted.
Lesser number of fests are organised and conducted

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is regularly restructured as per the market need and relevance is maintained. The exam toughness also remains little towards the higher sode which helps in understand aspects from all around. The only areas of improvement can be made in the elective courses and more options can be made available to the students.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are provided to 3rd and 4th year students. For third it is for summer time and for fourth years they come along with placements. Almost all field companies come and take students for internships. Ppo is also provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has a scholarship cum entrance exam called AEEE. Based on the performance, fee is divided into 4 slabs. I am a student of 22-26 batch in 4th slab. My educational fee is around 2.5-3 lac per anum and hostel fee is 1.1 lac per anum.

Campus Life

The campus life is amazing. All sports activities are available and one can choose among many clibs. There are 53 clubs in the college both technical and non technical and the club activities happen with great frequency. The crowd is mostly south indian however north indians can dwell in too. There are many activites to do after stidies and the environment is amazing. Security factor also checks out and the location of college is in the city so all the amenities are accesible. Moreover all basic amenities like atm clinic shops photocop stationary are there inside campus.

Hostel Facilities

There are three hostels for boys. The rooms are four sharing. There are all facilities like gym sports carrom table tennis etc in the hostels. The food is also decent. Laundry and other necerary services are taken care of.

Admission

My reason for coming to this college was the research activity involvement . The research patter in this college is phenomenal. Moreover bangalore as a city is the hub of it sector and the opportunities are endless. This also helps in the placemnet activities as well as student personality development. The campus infrastructire is also great. Comparing with other colleges the educational aspect here is muchh higher. There are more opprtunities for hackathons and pther events.

The college has amazing faculty. The teachers have done research from amazing universities and anre always there to help. The college follows semester system with mid sem and end sem exams along with projects amd quizes. The facluties from the all the departments are well versed with the domains and teching is very efficient.

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination

I have wrote JEE Advanced and I have good 148 marks But I was disqualified for not meeting the minimum marks criteria in chemistry. So I had to see for other options. I join this college because I was told that the college is very good in terms of placements. I had few more options too... SRM & VIT. But this college is better than SRM college. And VIT fees was so expensive so I have confirmed my admission here. An overall detailed and comprehensive assessment of college and related facilities

I applied to a few colleges like VIT, Manipal, Shiv Nadar..etc. I got admission to the 2nd as well. I choose this college due to several factors like senior recommendation, faculty, location, lack of bad influence and habits ..etc. Actually my dad was determined not to make me really stressed by forcing me into entrance and IIT coaching so I did preparing only for SAT exam instead. For us the exam process was online . I applied for the AEEE exam organised by amrita vishwa vidyapeetham . Anybody can apply but they should meet some basic criterias like 75 percent in some subjects . After we got the exam results we applied for the counselling based on our ranks we got the seats alloted .
