Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is apt and easy to cope up. Bridging the gap with the 12th is the best part of the of the curriculum. Despite having a few unnecessary subjects, which are bound to be preesent in any course in any college, the core subjects are started in the very first semester which inculcates interest in the course. Exams are very frequent, either as quizzes assessments, mids or end semesters, most professors use smart board to teach which can be seen as a upside.

Placement Experience

3

The placement record has been good so far with an impeccable record. Requirment for placement is 7.5 cgpa on an average and only the ones with a good portfolio actually end up with a high paid job. Top companies have partnerships I feel. Averages with a salary of 9lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

4 slabs of fees is available. First slab students pay the least fees and last slab i.e. 4th slab are management quota. A scholarship student earns the slab by the ranking through the aeee exam or jee percentile. Each year if the top student wants to retain their slab, a 8cgpa should be aquired,7.5 for the next slab and 7 for the final one. Their fees increases as per the given structure depending on their slab. Caution deposit of 10k will be collected, Admission fees of 1 lakh is what I paid under slab 1, and 5k for scholarship portal. Management quota is allocated via board percentage and a non refundable 10k is collected.

Campus Life

4

There's almost 2-3 events in a month except the end sem month and the library has a lot of books which provide sufficient knowledge and helps me to save money on reference books. The classrooms are equipped with wifi and most of the classes have a socket for laptop for each desk. A smart board is available. Sports and extra curricular activities are promoted but education remains the top priority. Clubs in the college are out of the world and students with a few of them together can request for a new club and are mostly approved.

Admission

This college gave me an admission for the cheapest fees along with better placement record as of now. I've been rejected in a couple of colleges because of a group discussion which I stumbled across. Admission in my college is through an AEEE scholarship exam or via jee. The more probable option for students is the AEEE exam

Faculty

4

Faculty experience is great and very approachable and always encourage students to take up research work. On an overall basis the exams are really hard to score but easy to pass. most commonly the ratio of internal to external is 60:40 hence easier for students to do well in their internals to pass.

Night Life

2

As of me being a day scholar gym isn't accessible. Cafe is good but no non veg in the campus. Library isn't bad but not equipped with fans. Safest place for a college location and very social area. HSR layout is very nearby hence clubs, restaurants are top notch. Hostellers are restricted to 6:30 without passes.

Other Applied Colleges

VIT Bhopal University | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Initially was hyped about the college but referred to a few of my relatives in bhopal and asked me to keep this college as a backup despite being a good college

Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology - [NMIT] (Deemed to be University) | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Wrote a scholarship exam and got through. Later realized that the scholarship exam was really not worth it as they asked lakhs for a single year. Basically a management quota course marketed.

Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences - [Karunya Deemed University] | Master of Science [M.Sc] (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science)

Learnt about the college that even after getting good grades, the curriculum taught wouldn't fetch me a good salary

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements since 3rd semester only if they possess extremely high talent, otherwise, most students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester of engineering. Many companies such as societe general, microland, deloitte, capgemini, keep visiting our campus on a yearly basis. Usually the packages vary from 5-20 lakhs. My plan after degree is to get placed in a good enough company that satifies my necessities
