Course curriculum is classical as followed in other engineering colleges in India. Faculties are good. Students and Teachers are working to make college a better place and provide industrial exposure to the students.

There are several placements and job opportunities available in our college. Every year the training and placement department attracts several reputed companies from all around the globe to come and provide job opportunities in our college. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Walmart, Atlassian,Goldman Sachs is a dream company for almost every aspiring student and provide a huge PPO to multiple students. Being an old and reputed college the alumni network is functioning pretty well and have an alumni network named BITOSA Global. Recently, Karana Bajaj an alumni of BIT Mesra has sold it's million dollar company White Hat Jr. to BYJUS which makes every BIT student proud. Apart from him, one of our college alumni is the founder of Lenskart. Amazon Alexa was also developed by one of our college alumni. The Enterpreneur Cell in our college is very active and organises an Entrepreneurship Summit every year with a huge participation and invites speakers to motivate students to become Job Providers not Job Seekers.

Campus life is awesome. Being surrounded by forest and river you feel very pleasant living here. Bitotsav is the cultural fest organised in our college with an annual footfall of around 10K people. Celebrity Singers, DJ and EDM's are invited to perform in this fest. Apart from it, Pantheon is the technical fest organised in our college with an annual footfall of around 5K people. Vajra is the sports fest organised in our college where students from various college participate to prove their mettle in field of sports and fitness followed by an EDM Night.

GP Birla Scholarship is provided to the meritorious as well as needy students on the basis of their GPA scored in the respective semester.

Free WiFi with unlimited data is available. Sports facilities is great with facilities like Badminton Courts, Oval Cricket Ground, 400M race track, Football Court, Table Tennis, Basketball Courts and Fully Air-conditioned Gym with all possible equipments.

It is compulsory for all the students studying in the college to opt for hostel. First Year hostel rooms are very small and are available on sharing basis. Second year onwards, students are provided their single rooms. Mess food is average and yes Non Veg 3 days a week, Hostel Facilities are average. You can decide your own menu by suggesting it to the student mess incharge.
