Course Curriculum Overview

Its not soo good as expected due to lack of exposure. Students are trained to be highly competetive rather than values and ethics. All the emphasis is on projects whetger we are interested or not we are forced to do it.

Course Fees: INR 38586 per year

Placement Experience

Till 2018 only 2-3 companies visited the campus but now the training and placement committee has been set up and provides a lot of opportunities for the students to get placed in companies.

College Events

As per computer science the curriculum is good but not excellent, there could have been a more thorough learning of the languages as well as concepts. Also other aspects of computer science like web dev are missing.Also practical exposure is very less

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculumn of chandigarh university is releavant and covers core subjects with projects and labs. It support basic industry readiness, but pratical exposure can improve. Exam are held mid and the end semester with modern difficulty. More hands on experience and updated technoilogies would enhance overall effectiviness and career prepartions.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Not everyone if my course got internship but those who got they get exposures of finanvcial knowledge..

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course will be completed on time, but you'll not get taught as you expected. The teaching techniques are boring, and you'll have difficulty. They charge you 2000 rupees as late fees for submission and so on, for the late exam fees as well. There are a lot of unnecessary fees that they will apply once you get admission there

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives

First Year Reality Check

I had also applied to lovely professional university but i finally choose DAV university mainly because of fees and affordability. LPU offers better infrastructure and branding, but the the total cost was much higher compared to DAV. DAV is clearly more affordable than LPU. LPU is better in terms of campus size, hostels, labs and overall facilities. DAV has decent infrastructure but it is more basic and less modern than LPU. LPU has more exposure and resouces, while DAV focus more on regular academics. Faculty quality may vary from teacher to teacher. LPU has stronger placements than DAV. The addmission process at DAV was simple. There was no GD, PI just form submission, eligibility verification based on 12th grade marks. The DAV University Experince: An Honest Perspective

i choose this university because it was close to my house , affordable tuition fees , good placements. I haven't applied to any other colleges for admission i just browsed the reviews of the university.
