Remarks

I'm interested in research and wanted to choose it as my career option and wanted to join IISC Bangalore that's why I prepared for IIT-JEE bt lack of having enough score I got IIT BHU according to my preference order and so for the branch. But I will not stop here and will going to fulfill my dreams through higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

1. In the 1st year all branches have to study same courses. From 2nd year onwards we have to study the particular courses designed for specific branches. 2. During 3rd we have Intern procedure in which we have to do industrial training for around 3 months in the alloted company. 3. All the faculty members are decent, interactive, experienced and have practical as well as theoretical knowledge about the subject/course. Some professors which are above all faculty members from my perspective are: Dr.Vijay Laxmi Yadav Mam, Dr. Satya Vir Singh Sir, Dr. Bhawna Verma Mam.

Placement Experience

4.5

I can't give information very well as I hadn't gone through any placement session. So companies that visits are generally non core companies like Google, Amazon, Cisco, J P Morgan, Oracle, Bajaj,Goldman Sachs. Processes that follows are, firstly, fill application form of the company you desire of and you must have to eligible for it. Second, you have to go through 2-3 steps, every step will consists of either coding test or GD or aptitude. Finally, there will interview round in which you have to convince the interviewer that you are a must and most deserved candidate for the specified post/position. Since IIT BHU is one of most old colleges, so it has a vast alumni network, some notable Alumni graduated from IIT BHU are: Mr. Nikesh Arora, Mr. Manick Sorcar, Mr. Nikhil Sachan, Mr. Sanjay Sethi and many more.

College Events

It is a three days fest with many competitions and tasks, at the end of everyday there is a happy ending with interaction with celebrities like Nishant Suri (stand up comedian). 2. Cultural Fest: KASHIYATRA is the cultural fest of IIT BHU which consists of every entertainment platform, from dance, singing, masquerades, Ktm stunt show, memes battle, DJ night, fashion show (named as MIRAGE), stud hunt, band face-off, dance battle, dance face-off, and many more along with sponsorship of LIC, O'Barba, American Tourister, KTM, sparx, Indian oil and many more. 3. Campus Life

1. Since IIT BHU became IIT in 2012 and also college has completed 100 years that means it is old too so infrastructure is not like other IITs having modern infrastructure but it has unique ancient and cultural infrastructure. 2. Currently, Sports Complex building is under progress and IIT BHU have three large grounds along with most numbers of sports available compared to any other IIT. 3. Wi-Fi connectivity is excellent and available all over the campus. 4. IIT BHU have excellent library with all the necessary facility available. 5. IIT BHU is upgrading day-to-day in laboratory equipment along with faculty, recently 'Super Computer' has been installed and inaugurated by our honourable PM Mr. Narendra Modi.

Hostel Facilities

There is nothing like students have to go for PG or any other option just because hostel rooms are not sufficient. In all IITs number of seats for in hostel is according to the number of students permitted in the institute. In case if student want to take room outside campus then he/she is free to do so. There are around 10-12 hostels including M. Tech, PHD and Girls hostel and every year hostel change according to branch wise except 1st year students, all 1st year students alloted one hostel called Aryabhatta. Since hostels are large enough to accommodate 400-450 students comfortably so in one hostel 3-4 branch students live comfortably and one room alloted for two students of same branch. Regarding facility all hostels are decent like whatever dish you want to eat in mess, tell to mess worker and he will serve you, laundry system is also available at hostel gate, garden has been made at the centre of all hostels where you can play cricket and games, sit and relax during winter days and many more facilities are available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of course is very comprehensive and relevant and follows all the guidelines that are given by university. My reason for choosing this was how it delves and prepares us for the management world which is one thing that I'm passionate about and want to take on in future. The curriculum is so apt because it isn't just theoretical, it prepares you equally on how to take on the real world problems after graduation. The curriculum includes subjects as English proficiency and personality development where a special attention is given on your soft skills and to make you confident enough in communication. There are classes for computers to teach to necessary tools like excel etc . The teachers use myriad ways to teach like group discussion, ppt , lectures , board etc. I feel i don't thing that there's any need of improvement as such of now in the curriculum. The exams are held 3 times in a semester which is of 4 to 5 months. One is the internak exam which is of 25 marks. The second is the pre university exam which happens before the semester exam which is of 75 marks. The last and the main exam is the semester exam which is of 75 marks. The 25 marks are on the basis of internal and put exam and hwi the student has performed in them . The exams are easy to take if the course is completed and the student has studied well and is through the syllabus nicely. The paper is overall easy to medium however there are one or two questions to test the aptitude overall

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is good but i belive there should be more flexibility and more diverse topics should be taught as i mentioned earlier there should be something related to drama and skit and acting as it enriches the creative side of the students and also it is very necessary for a management student to have a creative skills too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

The highest package of the college is 4 lakh per annum. The average package of the college is nearly about 2.5 Lakh per annum. The lowest package of the college is 1.8 lakh per annnum. Nearly about 50% of the students got placement from the college. After getting the degree, my plan is to pursue the higher studies and do government exams preparation.

Placement Experience:

Students from third year have started getting Pre-Placement Offers, but many of those are majorly due to their own accomplishments. Students get ample amount of time to intern at various law firms and courts, to secure a PPO on their own. In addition to this, the Internship and Placement Committee, often comes in aid to secure PPOs for the students of the graduating batch.
