Remarks

I liked engineering and as per my jee marks this college was suitable. Also, the college infrastructure is very good and placement across 100%. The college has a small mountain towards west of its premises and that is mesmerising.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite interesting but lots of theories so the college changed the be degree to btech degree in which experiments are in large numbers. Faculties were good in subject knowledge, they helped each student where they need help.

Class Size: 8Course Fees: INR 1100000 per year

Placement Experience

Various company visits the university every year where all the students of off campuses and main campus are invited for the placement drives. But yes the main campus students get much more opportunity than off campus students. In placement context, partiality is there. Companies like tcs, infosys, cognizant, amdocs, intel, wipro etc visit.

College Events

Campus life was very good. I'll always miss the college days. Festivals are the main medium of enjoyment in the college life so in our college annual techno-cultural fest 'utthaan' is organised. Along with utthaan some other fests like antaragni, aurora, paradolia, aaghaz etc are organised annually.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides gp birla scholarship for meritorious students who obtains gpa more than 8. I was availing e-kalyan scholarship from jharkhand government so I was not able to get double scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is good but playground is small. We have to play football and cricket in the same ground and yes that ground is also not big. College has a wifi which offers you 25 mb(yes it's in mb) daily on one number. Local area network is also there and that provides sufficient data. The library is also good, has lots of books.

Hostel Facilities

It is compulsory for bit deoghar student to live in hostel. The hostel has quite big rooms. It has mess facility that serves you breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner. The food quality is also good, they take care of that.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

students get placemetns from the 5th semester and are also give training for a month. more company enter my college like tata ,mahindra, honda and etc. if you have good marks in you six semester and you answer the questions correctly , the company may offer you a high package,and you can also demand you package. for mechanical engineers 100%,electrical engineers 75%and other branch68%. i will work in the company after getting the degree

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
