Lab facilities of this College for Biotechnology is good and Teaching also nice. Hostel food is nice but Vegetarian. One of this College alumni referred me and which is true. Publication and innovation council is there and working in good manner which may help all students to develop their footpaths
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is based on Anna university but it was improved by College because it is an autonomous College. laboratories are well furnished and air-conditioned except biochemistry lab. College always motivated students to participate in skill development works and assignments are not just copy and paste it was like mini project or scientific communication writing based assignments are given to improve student skills
Placement Experience
Companies like Zifo, HCL, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Zoho and other companies comes for placements. Placement training is mandatory here even some Sundays special training will be given even in 3rd year. Alumni meet will happen on that time Students can able to interact with them. Entrepreneur program was promoted by i2c and all staff. Selected Projects are funded by College or government.
College Events
Various workshops are conducted and seminars, Guest lecture also conducted. Sports events and cricket tournament also conducted. world women day celebrated in grand manner also cultural events also happens
Fees and Financial Aid
For PG Students scholarship is for 30% of class strength will be benefitted. For economically backward students some special scholarship also offered. In my class 4 students were benefitted. Installment based fee payment is available after permission from management
Campus Life
Our college have a swimming pool, Gym, Basketball court and a cricket ground along with tennis court. Have a central library along with separate libraries for each departments. Equipments like Co2 incubator, cold room, Various types of Fermenter, wave bioreactor, RT PCR are available in lab
Hostel Facilities
Hostel have water heater and 24hrs water supply, Clean Toilet, Green environment also that laundry is available. For PG Students 2 people in a room. Hostel fees is high 95,000 per annum. But good vegetarian food is available, sadly no Non vegetarian food available in Hostel. for 1st year caution deposit also included about 25,000
