SVCE'S Breakdown

The course curriculum is moderately relevant and comprehensive but it lacks industry aligned things in areas like ai,ml and other emerging technologies, it provides enough tech knowledge and practical exposure making self learning crucial for self development improvements are needed in incorporating hands on projects , interactive teaching methods

Amazon provided 1.1 lakhs for internship for the time period of 6 months usually students get 20k to 75k for internship Projects i did was ai spam detection which used ML for the task which was in the project and w3schools website clone which i did in my academic internship

Campus placements starts from 6th semester onwards in which we start getting internship drives . This year 2 students from second year got internship offer from amazon which was a new thing to me since i joined this college companies like KLA, FRESHWORKS, EPIQ, ZOHO,AMAZON and few more marquee companies come for campus interviews highest package is 45 lakhs and avg package is 5.5 lakhs approximately 80% of the students getting placed . I plan to gain industry experience in software development or machine learning , work on innovative projects with 2 or more years of exp i may do masters or higher studies to get more knowledge

Yearly I pay 2 lakh 25 thousand and 10 thousand for placement training. so totally i pay 9 lakhs 40000 at the end of the final year for completing the course. Govt quota students get free seats without any payments Scholarships available are merit cum means and merit and means they get 5000 as scholarship

Campus life is vibrant with annual cultural fest called highways which usually happens during may month every year and department symposiums for each dept classrooms are equiped with projectors but only few blocks are good few blocks are not well maintained they dont clean or paint. its more like a old building some projectors wont work properly and some fans dont work properly , toilets are not well maintained no mirrors only 1 mirror is placed they are not maintaining properly they run many clubs like speakers forum, short film club,care club, music club, photo club etc but no of clubs are less compared to other colleges

I chose this college over other because of the academic performance and department which i wanted however college location is a bit far compared to other colleges which i got admission to so based on the high cutoffs required in other colleges i have no other choice than joining this college even though i got admission letter for few private instituitions i didnt want to join a private college since the culture isn't that good compared to the autonomous colleges my dream college is SSNCE which i got only EEE

1) Some professors are very friendly and easily approchable they will guide us whenever we want them some are very strict they dont even teach properly and wont provide marks for us 2)yuvaprabha maam, vijayalakshmi maam, krithika maam, bharadwaj sir, rupa kesavan maam these faculties i like because they are friendly and they provide internals if our ans are correct no biasment they are very interactive in the classroom . Best faculties are them 3) Vishalakshmi mam, Devasagayam sir, Thilaka mam, they are not friendly and their teaching is not understandable to the students and they dont give marks too 4) we usually have 3 exams before end semester they are usually easy. Only 5 to 6 % of the students fail

Since am a day scholar i dont have idea about nightlife like in or around my campus but night life is very much pretty in the campus since it is fully covered with trees. OAT, Library, Temple are the hangout spots if we get any free periods where we get peace. Famous places outside campus is EVP and inside is OAT
