Remarks

It has been the top most college of Odisha, faculties are very good, environment is very good. It is situated at Bhubaneswar, capital of Odisha. It's a government college. So the fees are also very less.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus can be updated upto current industrial standards. Industrial exposure was very less. Most faculties are good and have enough experience.Out of them two are PhD holders and have contributed towards the development of society.

Yes there are many notable alumni from our college. Many have cracked UPSC exams, PSU, have went for higher positions in Administrative sector. Many renowned companies also visit our campus.Eg, TATA, BIRLA, IBM, Accenture, MuSigma, Robert Bosch,etc

College Events

Campus Life was very good and memorable. Each year we used to have one technical fest and one cultural fest. Every year known celebraties come. Management is also be very good, as governed by odisha government.

Campus Life

Infrastructure was well built, every corner has wifi and CCTV surveillance. Has wifi enabled library with computers and printer along with a reading room. The reading room also has computers. Labs are also getting upgraded to new equipments. It also has a large playground for cricket, badminton, football.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are well furnished, two sharing rooms with daily cleaning. Bathrooms are though common but always cleaned twice by the service providers. Rooms are easily available nowadays. Incase it's not available, there is no need to worry. As it can be easily available nearby within 5000/- range

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.
